Recreating Holi

Holi, often called "the festival of love," celebrates the triumph of good over evil and welcomes spring with vibrant bursts of color. In Indian culture, each hue carries deep significance – red symbolizes energy and love, while yellow represents prosperity and peace. For our Dolby Vision shoot, we found ourselves in the historic heart of Jaipur at the Jagat Shiromani Temple, a stunning 16th-century structure dedicated to Meera Bai, Krishna, and Vishnu. As our crew set up in the temple's courtyard, curious locals gathered on rooftops to watch. The temple's intricate stonework provided a majestic backdrop for what seemed almost impossible – hosting a Holi celebration at a national heritage site. When the director called "action," the ancient courtyard transformed into a kaleidoscope as rainbow clouds of color filled the air, capturing the festival's joyous spirit.
